DACELLFLEX is the export brand of DACELL (SHANGHAI) INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. Our closed-cell foam is produced for us in Wuxi, Jiangsu — 14,765 m² of plant and warehousing, foaming since 2009, about 200 km from the container ports of Shanghai and Ningbo.
We are an export house with an OEM manufacturing base, and we say so plainly: production, formulation and QC sit with Jiangsu Daxiang Rubber & Plastic Co., Ltd. (江苏达翔橡塑有限公司) in Yixing, Wuxi — an independent company, not a subsidiary, that moulds and foams to our specification. The name is not a coincidence: 达翔 sits in both, and that plant has been our production partner since the beginning; we take its output for export under our own specification and our own brand. A DACELL office sits inside that plant, so factory visits, sample runs and supplier audits are arranged directly with us — not through a broker. That split is deliberate. It lets us run NBR and EPDM formulations on the same line, hold stock in Shanghai for mixed containers, and print cartons under our customers' brands without a minimum artwork charge.
Since 2009 we have shipped to more than forty destinations, with the largest volumes in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Our customers are distributors, insulation contractors and mechanical packages — buyers who specify by data sheet and check the paperwork.
We are not the cheapest quotation you will receive. We are the one that still matches the sample after the third container.
The sample room at the plant: one of each product family stays on the shelf, so a buyer can handle the goods and compare before the first order.
We do not publish customers' buildings. What we can document is how the material is made, tested and packed — that is the part a specifier can actually verify.
At our OEM plant in Wuxi the foaming line, slitting, laminating, printing and packing sit in one building. Tube, sheet and roll goods share one compounding system, so a mixed order does not come from three different suppliers.
Every batch of compound is checked for density and Mooney viscosity. Finished goods are sampled for density, thermal conductivity and dimensional tolerance before cartoning, and photographed before the container is sealed.
Standard stock is 65 kg/m³, but density is a production variable, not a fixed grade: 55–90 kg/m³ is made to order for markets where price, local code or weight limits decide the number. Colour and wall thickness are specified the same way.
Supplier audits, pre-production sample runs and customer visits are arranged on site in Wuxi. Reports can be issued in your customer's name, and a third-party inspector is welcome at any stage.
Carton printing, private label and mixed-container loading are standard. Cartons are marked DACELLFLEX or your own brand, dimensioned 1850 × 320 × 360 mm.
Tape is coated, split and die-cut on the line that produces it. The photographs below are from the plant that runs our tape — machinery, not a showroom.
Release film in, adhesive applied, dried and rewound in one pass — the tape is coated here, not bought in as finished rolls and slit.
Foam block is split to the specified thickness before coating, so the thickness is set on the line rather than picked from stock.
Rolls and sheets are cut to the widths and die-cut shapes a project calls for, including short runs.
