Values are nominal production figures, tested per batch. Density, wall thickness and colour are produced to the customer's specification.

— means the value is identical for Class B and Class 0.

Tensile strength (GB/T 6344) and dimensional stability (GB/T 8811) are tested on the same sheet by the GB method; those figures are in the batch report and sent on request. Values refer to the last tested batch — every batch is sampled before packing.

Where coloured sheet is used

Same formulation as the black sheet, pigmented for service identification on flat surfaces: duct casings, vessel walls, equipment enclosures.

Colour-coded ductwork

Rectangular ducts and AHU casings where the service has to be identifiable at a glance — supply, return, exhaust, fire-rated routes. Cut to size and taped at the seams in the matching colour.

Equipment and vessel identification

Where a plant room uses colour to distinguish systems rather than labels, the sheet can carry the code on the largest surfaces in the room.

Visible insulation in service areas

Where the insulation is the finished surface and the client wants the services legible without signage. The foil-faced version in colour gives a wipeable coded surface.

How to specify a colour run

Same four inputs as the black sheet — duty decides thickness, code decides colour:

Colours available are black, red, blue and green. Standard export runs are black; colour is produced to order with lead time confirmed at quotation.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Is the coloured sheet the same insulation as the black sheet?

Yes — same closed-cell formulation, same thermal and moisture data, same fire behaviour. Only the pigment differs, so a thickness calculated for the black sheet applies unchanged.

Does the foil-faced version come in colour?

Only if the foil itself is coloured. Standard reinforced aluminium foil reflects and hides the foam colour, so a foil-faced sheet does not carry a colour code — for coded surfaces specify plain or self-adhesive coloured sheet, and use foil only where the surface has no identification requirement.

What are the standard thicknesses and roll sizes?

3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ (10 / 13 / 19 / 25 mm), with up to 50 mm produced to order. Rolls are 1.0 m or 1.2 m wide × 10 m long; 15 m and custom lengths to order.

Can we get several colours in one order?

Yes. Colour runs are produced to order, so the practical approach is to plan the split by service across the whole project and place it as one order — smaller quantities of four colours in one container cost far less than four separate shipments.
